WHY IT MATTERS

Two releases change distribution; only one changes the product surface.

Grounded in 6 source blocks
Browser-nativeBilingual by defaultSource-linkedHands-free ready

THE REAL PROBLEM

Information is abundant. Attention with context is not.

Read-later apps make the pile larger. Generic summaries make the source disappear. Text-to-speech simply makes every word audible.

Avec is built for the missing middle: less to consume, more of the original meaning, and a clear answer to “why does this matter to me?”

FROM SOURCES TO DAILY SIGNAL

A calm path through a noisy day.

One continuous workflow, from discovery in the browser to a briefing you can finish on a walk, commute, or coffee run.

01

Bring the signal in

Save the page you are reading or follow the sources that already shape your work.

02

Choose your lens

Tell Avec your role, goal, language, and the decisions you need to make next.

03

Listen, grounded

Get a concise briefing with original terms, source links, and clear fact-versus-inference boundaries.

04

Keep moving

Queue the next briefing, return to the source, or turn what you heard into an action.

THE AVEC LENS

Same source. A briefing built for your next decision.

Your role changes what deserves emphasis. Your goal changes what should be explained. Your preferred language changes how quickly the signal becomes usable.

  • Role Product, engineering, founder, investor, research
  • Focus Implications, evidence, risk, market, action
  • Voice Concise, skeptical, tutorial, conversational
  • Language Natural translation with key terms preserved

DESIGNED FOR UNDERSTANDING

Not just shorter. More usable.

TRANSLATE

Cross the language gap without losing the language of the field.

Hear the explanation in the language you think in, while important English terms stay intact.

DISTILL

Compress for the decision, not for a generic summary.

A product lead, engineer, founder, and researcher should not receive the same briefing.

TRACE

Know where every important claim came from.

Source accounting keeps the briefing connected to the article instead of replacing it with confident fog.

TRUST IS A PRODUCT FEATURE

Source-linked by design. Clear about what leaves your device.

Avec keeps provider credentials on the server, separates source facts from its own inference, and offers device speech as an availability fallback. Saved browser content stays local unless you explicitly use a cloud feature.

A FEW HONEST ANSWERS

Before you make room in your routine.

Is Avec another text-to-speech reader?+

No. Read-aloud is part of the workflow, but the product is centered on role-aware compression, translation, source grounding, and a continuous listening queue.

Does a briefing replace the original article?+

No. Avec preserves the source link and accounts for source sections so you can move back to the original context whenever a claim matters.

Can I use Google to sign in?+

Google OAuth is available on the hosted beta portal. The Chrome side panel supports direct email sign-in today; Google-to-extension session sync will be enabled with the production domain.

Is there a mobile app?+

Avec is Chrome-first today. The product is being validated around the browser-to-audio workflow before native mobile apps expand the experience.
